Submission Preparation Checklist
Thank you for choosing to submit to Homeostatic Therapeutics. Please read the following information before you begin your submission.
Submission Process Overview

Register or log in to the journal's submission system.

Select the appropriate section for your manuscript.

Upload your manuscript files and any supplementary materials.

Enter metadata including title, abstract, keywords, and author information.

Provide any additional information requested for the editorial review.

Review and confirm all information before final submission.
What you will submit:

Your manuscript file (in .docx or .pdf format) — with all author names, including any identifying information in the document properties

Your ORCID iD (recommended for all authors)

The names, emails and affiliations of all co-authors

A brief cover letter (if applicable)

Data availability statement (if applicable)
Before you submit, please ensure: Your manuscript has been checked for originality. You have read and understood the journal's Open Access and Copyright policies.

Authors who publish in Homeostatic Therapeutics agree to the following terms:
1. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal right of first publication. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows others to share and adapt the work for any purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.
2. Author Warranties
By submitting a manuscript, authors warrant that:
The work is original and has not been previously published in any form.
The work is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
All authors have approved the submitted version and agree to its publication.
All authors have made substantive contributions to the work and meet the authorship criteria.
Any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
For research involving human participants or animals, all necessary ethical approvals have been obtained.
3. AI Use Declaration
If generative AI tools were used in the preparation of the manuscript, authors must have declared the names of the tools and their specific purposes in the Acknowledgments section and in a dedicated letter of statement. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and ethical compliance of the manuscript.
4. Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to deposit the pre-print and post-print versions of their work in institutional repositories or on personal websites, subject to the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.
5. Open Access Fees
The journal applies article processing charges (APCs) to cover the costs of publication. Fees are disclosed on the journal website. Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low- and middle-income countries or those with special financial circumstances.
6. Repository Policy
The journal is archived in the following digital preservation systems to ensure long-term accessibility: PKP PN.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Information you actively provide: name, email address, affiliation, country/region, ORCID iD during registration; manuscript title, abstract, keywords, references during submission; review comments and scores submitted by reviewers.

Information automatically recorded (OJS core): IP address, access time, browser type, page clickstream logs.
2. Use and Sharing of Information

We use your information for the peer review process, editorial decision‑making, typesetting and publication, and academic misconduct detection (e.g., plagiarism checking).

We transmit article metadata (which does not include reviewer identities or contact information) to academic indexing databases such as Crossref, Scopus, and Web of Science.

We solemnly undertake that we will never sell your personal information to any third‑party advertisers, commercial entities, or use it for marketing promotion.
3. Cross‑border Data Transfer
Our journal's lead institution is located in Belarus, and the cloud servers we use may be located in [the United States, Hong Kong, or Singapore]. Your personal data will be transferred across borders between Belarus and the aforementioned server locations. We employ SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) to ensure the security of the entire transmission process and ensure that all cooperating service providers have signed data protection agreements.
4. Data Retention Period

Published manuscripts: author and reviewer metadata and full texts are archived permanently (based on the obligation to preserve academic archives).

Unaccepted (rejected) manuscripts: anonymized deletion or complete destruction within 2 years after the review process ends.

System access logs (including IP): retained on a rolling basis for 6 months, after which they are automatically overwritten.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access and correct your personal data held by us, and to request deletion of your personal information (note that metadata of published articles cannot be deleted or corrected due to the permanent nature of academic archives; for rejected manuscripts, we may process deletion requests earlier upon request).
Requests to withdraw consent (e.g., to refuse promotional emails) will be processed within 15 working days.
6. Data Security Measures
We use HTTPS encrypted transmission, restrict back‑end access to core members of the editorial team, and change system administrative passwords regularly.
7. How to Submit Privacy Requests
